Order #RKCTRP dealer notified but still at 1100
Hello,
Got this email from my dealer on April 9th. Still, here it is two months later and I'm still at 1100 - - shouldn't the car at least be queued for production by now? Last week the dealer was notified my car has been placed for production.. but still no movement from 1100. What is going on here?

nick, i'd love to be wrong, but I saw your post a week or so ago and reading this one as well, I hate to say it but it sounds like your dealer is screwing with you big time. . .my guess is they have no allocations and are just stringing you along. . .If you're still at 1100, even if your order gets accepted by GM like today, you're at least a month or so away from production and you're getting pretty close to moving to a 2015. . .The terms your dealer is emailing you don't make real sense from what i've seen. I'd call the dealer and have a real talk about allocation, and if they don't give you a straight answer, you should probably consider cancelling your order and calling one of the bigger forum dealers who can get you a car ASAP. . .good luck.

I don't want to clutter up this thread, but the scenario he's describing makes sense to me. That's exactly how my order progressed. The dealer knows a month or more in advance what allocations he'll get. So he told Nick when that would happen. Last Thursday was the last allocation cycle for 2014, and the dealer notified Nick that his order was placed (against an allocation). The status does not change immediately .. it normally changes on the following Tuesday .. TODAY. So I expect that right now, his status is 2000 and will probably go to 3000 tomorrow. He'll know as soon as he can get a status update .. but best of luck to him ..
