Need advice here. I ordered my Z51 Coupe on 2/1/2014. It is still at 1100. I went to my dealer to bust chops on Saturday on not at least being at 2000. He tells me he has an allocation for (3) C7’s and that 2 are coupes. Also tells me there is no different in having an allocation for a Z51 or base coupe as both are just based on the same allocation. He told me that the national production of Z51’s was 22 last week. I saw that I was number 1 in his orders of a C7. He is a Phase 2 dealer(not one of the first 900), and said that the Z51 allocations are on a first-in first out basis, and that Phase 1 dealers don’t get preference. He is going to have the regional GM rep give me a call to discuss.
I have a copy of the printout he gave me and based on this document can someone tell me what is going on?
Do you think I have an honest dealership or is he playing games?

I'm a little confused. My forum dealer says I'm still at 1100 while the Chevrolet Order Tracking site lists me as queued for production. Which might be closer to the right status. Thanks for all you do.

Jim,

The Z51 are a constraint item at this time. I ordered my base model from a Phase 1 dealer just a few weeks ago. I was #11 on their list with 8 of them being for Z51's. I have already moved to 3000 and bypassed 7 of the waiting Z51's orders who have been waiting a lot longer than you. Remove the Z51 and you will get built very soon, other wise you will just have to be very patience.
