Yeah super expensive considering how many rear ends have been swapped in C7s :toe tap: Thanks for your wealth of knowledge you added to this thread.

Yes, I do like the way it looks. Much better than the C7 rear IMO.. but let's not make this about looks. Both cars are performance bargains but for the drag strip, the GT500 takes the cake.

Haha... Did you not watch the video I posted... Like I said previously, $3K into the GT500 and you're at 700RWHP. The GT500 has the advantage stock or modded.

The GT500 is a monster, but not something I would want to drive every day.
Hard for a C7 to outrun a car that has 200 or so more HP. Just the way it is and I will agree, the GT500 is a great car.

Oh wait...they haven't, but I am sure you have an excuse for that too.

Your missing the point. You can put any amount of money in the Mustang, and its still a Mustang. The Corvette is in a different league! Always has been.

Geeze, and which car do you think will maintain a better resale, especially when they upgrade the C7's slushbox next year. Sure be nice if GM figured out what a DCT is.

GT500 is faster straight line what else can be said. It's also a fat pig. On any track where handling is involved it would get destroyed.

Fear the snake.

But on a track the c7 will obviously win just don't pull up to any 13-14 gt500's on the street. You will be destroyed.

I like the comment about how more women drive mustangs. I see far more women and old men driving vettes than Shelby cobras and that's a fact. Most women couldn't even depress the clutch on a gt500.

What are you talking about? I don't see what is getting accomplished by bashing the car when it was expected to lose the race in the first place? It doesn't hurt my feelings because I don't care either way. If people enjoy spending their time going to specific car forums just to bash that type of car then go for it.

Still a Mustang

Yeah, it's one of the most successful, important and popular car ever made but yeah, it's still a Mustang.

I agree with the Monk... you need to be careful because there are a LOT of people that say that very same thing about the Corvette. "It's a great performing car and puts up awesome numbers but it's still a Corvette"... spend some time in German car forums and you hear this often. Let's not do the same thing to the Mustang
