I can't stand the base car wheels, but the black works on them. Stunned it's not a factory option.
Good job

Can't beat the price! Looks like a nice finish, too.

Wow...love it!

If I don't go Z51 with the Z51 black rims then this is what I will also end up doing...

This whole black wheel thing started with ricer kids from the Fast and Furious generation and I hope it goes away soon.
Black wheels on performance cars have been around since before you were born. They aren't going away.

Let me guess, you like shiny chrome rims

Can't get much more ricer than that.

Black wheels have been used forever

I think black wheels look great on red and white cars, but I'm not a big fan of them on other colors, especially not the darker colors, as it's just too much darkness hitting you in the face

Black wheels started because they look good.

If you don't like them, carry on. I hate when people act like they have some kind of mission to show people the aesthetically-proper way...

I have never been a fan of black wheels, doubt I ever will. AND, adding unsprung weight to a sports car is a MASSIVE no no.

That said, looks like they did a nice job and glad you like it!

Yea, I thought about lowering it a bit, but New Jersey roads suck and I have already bottomed out the front splash guard a few times, so I will likely leave it where it is.

I'm thinking of getting the "standard" Z51 wheels, and then getting them powder coated. I think it might save me a tiny bit of money, but more importantly, apparently the black paint on those wheels picks up swirls easily.

Powder coating $300 + $100 for expedited service
Tire dismounting, TPMS removal, re-mounting, balancing, TPMS install was $200
Center caps were $40 each.
Total was around $750
