Default OK new C7 owners- Question??

What options did you buy that you really wish you didn't purchase or what options would you recommend for a new buyer?

Carbon fiber roof and dash look SWEET and the door sills are pretty cool.

I'd pass on the world's most expensive luggage next time around...

I bought everything I wanted, but would of loved to get the Comp seats and the FAY option (CF dash). Other then that, I've been happy with my C7.

z51 is my only option and I am more than happy with the car. Interior is really nice. Torch red with adrenaline red seats, black carpet.

Same here. Z51 only... blade silver on black. Although NPP & MSRC would have been cool extras, I still love this build very much!

All options on my car are loved other than the clear top. It's the one thing I'm not using. (I'm using the body color one.)

I'm not sure when I'll ever use it at this point.

I actually wondered if the Z51 option was worth it. I like the wheels better but I would probably put aftermarket ones on anyways. Has anyone test driven both the base and z51 options?

I'm completely satisfied with the choices I made - Z51, NPP, MRC, FAY, Brownstone with suede seat inserts, and Stingray mats.

I ordered the magnetic ride control… How is it? Is there any documentation on it?

Thanks

I would recommend the following:
Z51, Mag Ride, NPP Exhaust, 2LT Interior, Nav. I prefer the 7 Speed manual. This combo along with optional wheels of your choice gives you a very nice ride in the $65M range.

Bought my C7 from dealer stock with the $235.00 Stingray Door Sills on the sticker, dealer installed but on back order.

But I actually prefer the stock Corvette Door Sills so when the others arrive I will sell them. I actually negotiated my deal (in my mind at least) knowing I will not install them.

I agree but add the FAY carbon fiber trim. Love it.

Completely satisfied with the options I ordered: Z51, 2LT, NPP, MSRC, NAV, etc. Didn't opt for carbon fiber visible roof -- looks great w/o but I think it looks better with it.

For a new buyer, recommend Z51, NPP, and MSRC.

I went with the following upgrades:

z51
7 speed manual
black wheels
3lt
transparent roof
suede interior trim
performance exhaust
premium floor mats

did not and still do not care about the magnetic ride control, see my other thread on this topic. Am very happy with all of my choices and do not regret leaving any other out.

My plan is to DRIVE it so I ordered 1LT, Z51, MRC, NPP and am totally satisfied. With smart phone and blue tooth there is no need for navigation.

I totally agree with the above.

The subjectives:
I got the auto and don't regret it in the slightest.
I also got the red calipers -- which I love, but I understand some won't.
I also went with the transparent roof -- which I love and wouldn't change.
I got the black aluminum wheels, I don't regret them, but they do collect dirt/dust pretty quick. Now I have an excuse to keep washing her.

My regret:
As my car is torch red, jet black interior, I regret not ordering the carbon flash mirrors and spoiler for $100. After purchase, it's a $1863.99 "fix".

You may be happy with your smart phone, not me, I think it is dangerous, you have to look away from the road and it is hard to see. I am definitely getting navigation. These new nav systems are supper great.
