Default EasyPower Radar Cords Now Available For Your C7!

If you're tired of the coiled power cable that came with your radar detector bouncing around when you drive....THEN YOU'RE NOT ALONE!

Our power cable plugs into the power supply of the rear view mirror and is tucked away out of sight when installed. No need to plug and unplug your radar detector anymore! The cable will automatically power your device on and off when you start and turn the car off. SIMPLE just like it was intended to be!

Our cable is designed to work with all Corvettes & Our new EasyPower Cord works with:

ESCORT-ALL MODELS
BELTRONICS-ALL MODELS
VALENTINE MODELS- ALL MODELS

If your current detector uses the phone plug type connector then this will work for you. The EasyPower cable is 8 inches in length which we have found to be just enough to mount the detector around the mirror without any extra cord hanging around to disrupt your view.

We also stock a 12 inch cable for an extra $4 per order. If you wish to order the longer cable, please specify by selecting above.

On Sale For $14.99! Click below to order:

Is this cord for the C7 any different than the one I bought and used for my C6?

same principal, we've changed our supplier of the cord for a better fit to the mirror.

Is there an installation manual? The description makes it sound very simple. I remember seeing a post here showing how to install quick connectors step-by-step. The OP did a great job and made it sound easy, but there were a lot of details like how to accomodate for the very snug quick connector connections. There was another post of a guy who had it done professionally and afterwards his side mirrors didn't dim any longer or they were always dimmed. Not sure which. Don't know what kit they used but it might have been this one. This seems like an ideal way of connecting a radar dectector if u don't end up breaking something. There was also a post stating GM said not to tap into the rear view mirror for power. I'd be really unhappy if I broke something.

I believe I read somewhere that the back of the mirror on the convertible doesn't detach as on coupe and that this will not work on them...if I'm mistaken can someone clarify please.

I thought earlier forum posts stated the power to the rearview mirror was not enough to safely run the detectors on a wire tap.

That is because the early attempts tried to use the dome light connection. The power out of the plug produces plenty of power and does NOT trip any fuses or relays.

How about a video on install. Many might buy if it looks doable.
