I am first in line now to order a new Stingray from my local dealer. Passed a couple weeks ago as Z51 is a requirement for me.

Today he called when he got an allocation and could build a Z51. However to build it you had to go with the transparent roof option, no other choice on it. Also the carbon fiber dash could not be ordered.

Hope I did not make a mistake passing on it. I really want to buy from my local dealer if I can. I also really want the exposed carbon fiver top and dash on the Z51 LT3 I want.

Glad I snagged mine last week. I had to give up dual roof, but I got Z51, Comp Seats, and exposed CF roof.

I just placed an order for a 2lt/z51 with the standard roof.

Are you telling me the Z51 could be lifted but my order may still be held back due to a constraint on the standard roof?

I'd be good with the glass roof if it allowed my order to go through.

I may have to call the dealer tomorrow to let them know.

I got the same call yesterday. My order has been on hold since August. I could have passed on the cf roof and picked one up later but i think the LT3 interior deserves the cf dash and i think that would be hard or impossible to add on later.

Got all three of those options in on mine, as well, last week. Couldn't believe it. At Status 3000 as of this past Tuesday. Cheers!

I am next at my dealer, and its good to hear that Z51 packages are still available. I plan on ordering the transparent roof, and then having the side spears painted in the body color, as it looks incomplete on the sides. I think it is a better choice given the ability to even put inserts to block all light.

I was told you could put aftermarket inserts on the inside to block the light if needed. Anyone know for sure on the transparent roof?
