C7 Insurance Cost vs Prior Years

Zerski I'm in the same boat. My first quote for my C7 was $150 a mouth. That is under 7000 miles and I have two other cars insured and I'm 37. I can see now based on these other quotes I have some shopping to do.

How are some of you guys getting such cheap insurance or am I just getting ripped off? I do not own a corvette but I was browsing out of curiosity. I'm a 30 year old male never have had a ticket and have State Farm multi car discount . My 2003 Nissan 350z is 100 a month and my 2005 civic is 85. Never have claimed anything on insurance in my life .

Probably better to start a new thread.

I'm 34 and have Farm Bureau insurance. My '03 Z06 was $57/month. My '17 GS is $61/month. Both with the same coverage and $500 deductible. I have one other vehicle and my house with them as well.

I called Adam Boca and it was more expensive with limitations.
I have 3 cars and 2 homes all listed under the same company.
Maybe my age 66 is against me now, but with a clean driving record
for both me and the mrs, I thought it would be less on the 2017 C7.
I use an agent or broker to shop for my insurance and have found they have access to a lot of company information and I let them do the work and then present me with the quotes.
Then I call another company outside the ones presented and see if
the quotes are comparable.
It may sound like a lot fo work but it's only 2 calls, my agent and then one other company and I can usually review as many as 4 quotes.
Just my way of doing business. May not fit your busy lifestyle.
Drive on...............drive safe...................drive smart......live long.

Length of time with the same company sometimes comes into play, as some give discounts each successive year. Offset by "across the beard increase" but...
If I moved to a different city - about 25 miles farther SE, my rates would increase by over 30%.

C7 is roughly the same as my 2013 GS with State Farm. Just under $400 every 6 months for 100/300 liability, 100 ded comp, and 250 ded collision. I do not carry uninsured or under insured coverage. Being retired with medical it is a wasted coverage.

My new 17 went down a few bucks compared to my 03 SL500. I'm now at $735 a year. But comparing is tough. Location is a big deal. Insurance is more one county over from mine. And we all know about age and experience, accidents and citations, multi-car discounts, etc.. Even your credits score counts. I've been with my insurer since 1976. They have a points system that earns you "credits" that can be applied to any problems. So if I get a ticket or get into an accident I can use those credits to prevent an insurance increase. If you think you are paying too much, get some quotes, and don't forget the smaller localized insurance companies. Mine, Pemco, used to be only for teachers and came out of their credit union, but now they sell to anyone. If you qualify, something like USAA is also worth checking. (Must be military in some way, including family.)

Driver age and geographic area are good bets.

All I know is that when you turn 70, there is an age jump for insurance

Just switched mine C6 to C7 base. Up $200/yr. State Farm, no wrecks, no tickets last 7+ years, 835 credit score. I was quite surprised it jumped that much for basically a newer, comparable car
