Default C7 Corvette Stingray +30 HP Software Tuning, Pictures and Video

Unfortunately I found a oil leak with my C7, a pretty bad one too!

I brought my C7 to 21st Century Muscle Car located in Addison, TX and after our first DYNO test with the stock computer programing, a technician there noticed a very large oil puddle under the car's right front hood section. I was going to have 21st Century apply a software tune that would add 30 HP and 35 pounds of torque.

The car is now sitting at Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas waiting to be fixed under warranty. Once completed I will return to 21st to finish the software programming and post more pictures including another snapshot of the DYNO results.

More info will be located here

TUNING COMPLETED and I am very satisfied with the results. 30HP added as promised, to the rear wheels. The guys at the shop were very professional and courteous. The car feels much stronger, from the beginning to the end of the power band. I am about to add a video of the DYNO test which I'll post in a few minutes.

Video posted here

Are you certain the planned tune will have no warranty implications? This subject has been discussed in numerous threads here at CF.

To OP - strongly recommend you remove the thread or at least any mention of a tuner...

So how many miles did you have on the car before you put it up on the dyno?

401 HP. Finally some realistic horsepower numbers being posted. 460 HP X 88%(12% driveline loss) = 405 HP.

GREAT NEWS! oil leak was due to the dealership over topping my oil. The oil was leaking out of the air cleaner filter. Dealership cleaned out the air ducts, replaced the sensors and I was good to go. I am taking my C7 back to 21st Century to finally get the tuning done. I'll post a picture of the DYNO results once the tuning has been completed. 21st claims I should see no less than 430HP to the rear wheels, they will be tuning the software for 93 octane.

Good deal! I'm glad to hear there wasn't a more serious problem. Look forward to you post-tune results.
