Granted, it's the remote controlled one I ordered from the National Corvette Museum last week, but at least I have a new C7 to drive around until I get mine back!

I couldn't help but laugh a little at the irony...

Some crazy bolt patterns on those wheels as well. Is that the HD payload version with the 7-lug axles?

I think so! With those, you'd think it would be raised more than the base C7s are.

It made it out of the production facility with that post sticking right straight down through the hood? How could no one have seen that? All drunk or doped up?

I bought the same one, same color last Fri when I was at NCM! I see you took off the stickers, planning on doing the same. Best of luck to you, hope you get your car or a replacement soon!

Yeah, but I removed the post and ran the loose wires under the body. Still an unsightly hole in the hood, but other than that, it's perfect!

First, thanks for the well wishes!

Secondly, yes! The first thing I did was to take off the stickers...and straighten the license plate sticker that was put on terribly crooked.

It drives great, btw! Very fun!

I would not tolerate such sloppy production that leaves a hole in the hood! Send it back to the Factory!!!!!
