Default Roof -Transparent vs Body Color Carbon

I understand there is a constriction(since last week)on the standard body color panel. The glass panel is a $995 option. Could someone give me the pros/cons of each. Should I go for the glass roof so my order will be accepted by the factory? Also which constriction will last longer -- Z51 or roof panel?

I have the glass roof on my C6. I also own a body colored roof which has only been on the car for about 2 weeks of the last 18 months. I LOVE the glass roof and that is why the other one just hangs on the wall of my garage.

Get the glass roof. You won't regret it...

go with the glass roof if you really don't want to wait, there are many ways to block the heat if you need to...

The car will be in Florida so I'm concerned about the heat with the glass roof
