Help ordering my Convertible
OK so I pretty much decided on Blade Silver for the body because I'm going to be ordering a base unit and I think the base might look better in silver with the stock wheels. Here is my dilemma. What color top black or grey? I would like to do a red seat and order the red calipers to bring the pop of red from inside to the exterior as well. What top color do you think would look best? It's so hard not being able to see it on a car already and I don't want to screw it up. Thanks in advance

With Blade Silver exterior and Adrenaline Red interior, the only top color that will not require the D30 Color Combination Override is Black.

Oh gosh I never noticed that. Since I'm trying to keep the cost under strict control black it will be. It should look fine because most of the interior will be black anyway. Thanks

I can't get over all the red interiors. I'm going with a black top and interior, the color of the body will be Night Race Blue. A black top will look good after repeated up/down cycles, I expect to cycle the top often.

Interestingly to me, Corvettes are the only top down car I ever see with black interiors in large numbers. I love convertibles. I've been fortunate to have have owned my fair share. But, imho, there is nothing hotter than a open top car with all black guts. How folks can be comfortable with an interior color choice that absorbs the sun's rays and super heats all the surfaces is a mystery to me. Light color interiors abound in most all convertibles for that very reason. But not in the Corvette world . .

I get many, many compliments on the color combination. Many first and second place trophies for my class. I have only seen probably 5 cars with this combination and many with a black top.
If I knew how to post pictures here I would. It is a very classy look.

Honestly, the Blue Top is a much better choice in combo with the NRB. Plus, it is a dark color, will not show dirt, and again..IMO blends much better with NRB. How do I know, I own a C6 NRB/Blue Top.
