Might be driving home a C7 in the morning...
I have been looking for weeks now, calling around 50 dealers a day to see if anything pooped up. I have been putting off ordering one since it could take months. My preference is 1LT, 7-speed, black interior, AW,LB,TR. So tonight a dealer nearby has a AW 2LT 7 speed, black interior base model. He got it in late afternoon today and has had several inquiries. Im not crazy about the regular exhaust (but we own a Meineke so exhaust is easy) or the silver wheels (but then I can put anything I want on it) and the 4k for the 2LT (but I do like the possibility of more comfortable seats being I wear a xxl shirt and maybe with the lumbar deflated it will be more comfortable, I like the upgraded stereo and upgraded leather. I do like the white, but I like the Torch Red and Laguna Blue also. The car is mostly what I want, just don't know though. Dealer selling at msrp $57200. Sorry for the long post, just looking for some advice.

Wait!!! The dealers are about to be flooded with non z51 cars. You will find what you want and do better than msrp. The only way I would pay msrp would be on a z51 car.

Time is your friend.
Each day that passes more and more C7's are produced... Each day that passes they are less and less rare... Each day that passes will probably get you a lower price... You should take your time and get exactly what you want so you are 100% happy.

Kerbeck just listed 25 Stingrays on their website that are inbound for dealer stock. Deft worth waiting a little while longer if the car you are looking at isn't exactly what you want.

I agree with others. WAIT till you get exactly what you want, whether it shows up at a dealer or you order. It takes discipline, maturity and restraint( course not all of us, myself included, have been totally successful at that over the years. Probably about a 50 percent success rate and well thought out BS for the rest, so one can have it NOW). As all of us certified vette junkies can attest, either way you'll have a blast. Enjoy.

I agree on waiting to get exactly the car you want. Not like they are going to stop making them tomorrow and eventually the ability to get one below MSRP will happen.

You might wanna check out Rick Conti's site - Coughlin Chevrolet. He just listed (last night) about FORTY inbound - and unsold - non-Z51's for dealer stock .... all color options... and all option configurations.
He's not that far from you - and he's a great guy to do business with. I did. (And he IS far from me!! LOL)

I'd order the car they way you want it. Non-Z51's will be easy to get and if you find the right dealer your car will be built and delivered within a month.
Or as others suggested, the dealers will be flooded with non-z51's soon. The Z51 constraint made a ton of dealers order Non-Z51's as the Z51 preorders got stuck and were not able to be placed.

My simple advise, take your time and order your dream car exactly the way you want it to be, otherwise you will have nagging doubts later on.

I agree with everyone else. Wait and get exactly the car you want, at the price you want to pay. Getting a car that is not what you want, but that you get to drive a month earlier will not override the disappointment during the years you will be driving the car you really didn't want.

GM says they are building about 137 C7 Corvettes a day, and they want to build upwards of 30,000 C7's annual, (which would be the first time since 2008 that they made that many.)
I've already seen two different local dealers discount even Z51's $6k to $8k off MSRP, I'm assuming because they want to sell more and increase their allocation.
When the snow is on the ground this winter, there will be plenty to choose from, and the plant should have worked out the kinks by then! Don't buy an option or a color that you do not want!
