Good for her! She's obviously a driving enthusiast - bought an early production Stingray and just look at how the car is optioned. I'm sure she'll have tons of fun with it.
About 10 years ago my mom (55 at the time) went from a black Lexus GS to a red 350Z Track edition with a manual. Some women love to drive too, and in my experience, they tend to be the fun ones.

Nice color combo - the black mirrors and the black spoiler nails it. Could also use a full body center stripe - hood, roof, back to the spoiler. black with a red accent to match the interior and the calipers.
