Rant -n- Rave on my C7
I have had em all. C5 supercharged, Zr1s, GSs, 427
red, white and blue.
But I am here to tell you my new C7 Z51 is by far and away
the best vette ever made. Handling blows away C6 incuding Zr1
Power is awsum, yes its not a Zr1 in power but still fantastic.
And the looks are just incredible. The cockpit layout has got to
unmatched even by hi-dollar imports
Chevrolet, my hats off to you. Gotta be the best I have ever had!!!

I am also glad you like the C7 and it looks to be a fantastic car BUT:
The C7/Z51 could not beat a standard Z06 around VIR so it may handle better but its not faster.

Dude...don't even get started...I have driven a GS and a ZR1 on the track and no...not a C7, but I'm more than 90% sure it's not anywhere near a ZR1. But he is open to his opinion. Get me some C7 track time and I will give you my full opinion.

And your opinion will actually have meaning at that point so I look forward to your honest review after you have had that opportunity.

I pick up my C7 in a week. Tell ya what. I'll let you know which one handles better. I don't need a track for that. My country roads will tell that story.

Scraping the splitter.
I'd wager that your "track" experience in a ZR1 is limited to a few sessions at Bondurant or Spring Mountain during one of their ZR1 programs, which hardly makes your opinion any better than the two people in this thead that have owned and driven both.
