Default Painting Calipers

Can someone post some photos of the standard black calipers? I'd like to paint /powdercoat mine red but I'd like to see how the lettering is treated. Is it raised or recessed? Decals are available on ebay, but i am not sure I want to go that route. Thanks.

Why not just order painted from factory? Unless you want a very unique color the factory painted calipers are the way to go.

The lettering is flat so you will need to get decals and clear coat over them after painting or powder coating.

You can do this for $30 and an afternoon with a 6 Pack. Chev will charge you $600.....

That's the main reason not to get it done by them....

This is duplicolor spray ceramic and eBay decals:

Flat lettering will help. Now to get the correct shade of red.

I did not order them cause I want to different. Maybe green or purple. NOT.
I think a dark blue. Plus I have done the last 4 cars I have had at a cost of about $25 each.
Just could not click the $600 button.
