The last car out is so bad, how could you restore it. Make a clone and display that original car as recovered. The other cars seem in somewhat better shape though some are basically demolished, probably 30% of the original cars will remain after restoration.

It has no heritage like the other corvettes. I think what happened was a good way to thin the herd.
It may sound harsh but others will see there is no significant history to the last vette.

I am sure they will restore up through the 1.5 million Vette (even if they use only the VIN on the 1.5); the Mallett could be enclosed in Lucite and made a permanent display with a video of what it looked like on the day it was donated; alternative, bury the Mallett remains at the Motor Sports Park and hold an annual "memorial."

I think it will end with some repaired and possibly 2-3 not. I think the 2-3 nots should become a permanent display in a specially designed area in the museum showing details and pictures of what happened, etc.
The day after it happened I posted on NCM's facebook they should just build a clear floor and leave the cars in there...lol.
