Default Wreck the wrecked Vette discussions!

Anyone weary of seeing wrecked Corvettes or torched ones? I mean, what is the purpose of seeing or discussing this?

To me it ranks right up there with taking photos of the person in the casket in a funeral. Just bad luck in my opinion.

I think learning about what causes an accident could be beneficial to many, especially those w/out a lot of experience behind the wheel of a powerful RWD sports car.

Human nature - and don't ask me to explain cuz I can't.

Same reason folks run to the scene of a fire instead of away from it - they run to the scene of an accident - run to the scene of most any catastrophe or dangerous situation. Same reason the News always begins with with the murders, tragic accidents, police actions, etc.

Problem is that most of these write-ups haven't had many details about the actual accidents.

kinda cool to see how they stand up to a wreck. How all that safety engineering works.
Do they break, fold, stay intact where suppose too
