Can't I just use the one that I have for my Z06?
Oops....I just went to your website and I see that I can use the one I already have.

You don't want the mis-aligned points rubbing on your paint when the wind blows
The C7 covers are a different cut than the C6 covers.
Same price though...

I have already bought the GM Outdoor Waterproof cover for my car (mainly because of the big side StinRay logo for the shows). What I didn't realize, was the cover did not have any lining, and I am afraid it is going to scratch the car in the event of wind or breeze.
What option do you have that I can use? I am thinking possibly a lightweight fleece or cotton cover to use under the waterproof one I already have, and also use indoors when stored in the garage.
Thanks,
Anthony

Kind of a long explanation...
Waterproof car covers are great for 1 thing - Keeping water off the
car. They work well when it rains and then you remove the cover. The
problem with waterproof car covers is that they generally don't breath
very well. Remember, Dew, Condensation and Humidity make it up
under the cover. If you don't remove the cover after it rains, that
moisture gets trapped under the cover and baked on to you paint,
causing water spots and deposits.
The problem with doing what you are suggesting, putting another
cover underneath, is that you still have the same problem...
A good cover actually lets a little moisture through and has very
breathable fabric, so that the moisture under the cover can evaporate.
If it were me, I's just go with a Covercraft Weathershield and be done
with it.
If you are going to add a cover underneath, I'd go with the Coverking
Silverguard Plus or the Covercraft Dustop.

I'll look into the difference between the Silverguard and Dustop.

Thanks for the reply, Chip. I do get your point and totally agree with you. The thing is this car is used for shows, otherwise, it is almost always garaged. The idea of the large StingRay on the side is appealing. My idea is to use to only use the GM cover temporarily if it sprinkles during a show, or right before the show starts for a short period. My primary concern is the fine scratches the GM cover may cause in the event of wind or possibly by simply putting on and off.
I'll look into the difference between the Silverguard and Dustop.

Chip,
What is the best indoor only cover that would be the best for not marring the paint. The car is stored in a garage (attached but unheated).

I have the outdoor car cover from GM. My dealer threw it in with the car. It's made by Coverking, so if you're looking for a cover, get one here from these guys at a fraction of dealer cost. Just in case anyone was wondering what company made the OEM covers.
