Generally this is because the connections are not tightened down properly. I know this sounds odd....but many have re-checked and tightened connections with success. Also be sure the thin gauge black wire to the (-) pole is tight and not broken. You should also check the 350amp fuse on top of the battery.

I hope you removed the black cover protecting the post, lot people don't see it, and the battery not completing a circuit so the car in dead.

Both of the above offer very good advice. Hope it is just a matter of something simple being required to get your car up and running again.

Check that the plate on top of the battery is connecting everything as I found out when I had my battery changed. If it is touching only a little your car may start but the next time it will not. It is under the top black cover.

Default new bayy.

Thanks guys for all your help. I have done all you have said except the 350 fuse on top of the batt. Is that a fuse that is located on the NEG. cable?
