Default Seat question to owners...

I have noticed that my driver seat does not power recline nearly as much as the passenger seat in my car.

Is this normal?

I feel like I need a bit more recline but it stops before I can get it back enough.

If I get in the passenger side it goes back MUCH farther.

I haven't tried. I'll try it if I remember before I head to work.

I heard somewhere that a sensor stops the reclining when the seat back hits the carpet behind it. No actual experience with it, though. If true, to make it recline more I guess you have to move the seat forward a little.

I moved my seat forward but it didn't make any difference.

Can anyone chime in here? I don't want to go to the dealer for no reason.

I'm experiencing the exact same thing. I want a little more recline, but no matter where the seat is (forward or all the way back) the recline stops at the same place. Passenger side reclines more than the driver side.
