C7 on youtube reads 203MPH, Is it real?
Long time lurker, Not so regular poster here, I was looking at the other thread called "Corvette goes 205mph" and a lot of folks think the car can't hit 200MPH stock, then I came across this youtube video...It looks fairly real, like the driver is driving at night, and the camera aimed at center console is moving around, buzzing almost, as if going a super higher speed. Can someone debunk this video? Look at how old the video is and how it only has 800 views, clearly this video slipped through the cracks.

Safety Car
As was shown on another thread on a dyno, top end looks like it's electronically limited to 190 mph. But it could do more.
I'm sure that vid is from a dyno run!

Gran Turismo 5? Or something?
I guess it just looked pretty real seeing the the camera bump all over the place and the steering wheel covering the dash a little at certain angles. I had no idea GT 5 went that realistic.

I think GT6 is out and there is a top speed run of a Cyber Gray C7 doing 204 mph, very realistic, shows the run over 10,000 meters/6.2 miles with overhead 1000 meter markers. Some people passed it around stating it was real.

Race Director
I've played more than my share of GT5 and never saw anything like that. But then I haven't played in 4-5 months so maybe they did an upgrade of the C7 graphics...

That's not GT5. It's not any computer game I have seen.
The game video you are refering to is the external view of a C7 on GT5. But that game has no cockpit view that shows the real dash or anything close. This one appears to be a real dashboard or maybe GT6. I'd say its on a dyno, but the lighting suggests driving at night and under a series of spaced overhead lights then a dark stretch.
