Hello,
i'm from germany. Since few weeks i own a Ice Silver Stingray C7 Z51. It's Not Blade Silver. But i cant see any big difference. And i cant find any Thread for Ice or Argon Silver.
The car has the LT2 package and red interieur.
I's a great car and i have a lot of fun.
Greetings from Germany
Lars

Blade Silver and Silver Ice are the same color with the same color code (17U). Some computer systems see the code and automatically go to the standard color name rather that the Corvette only name.

with Robert. And Machine Silver (C6 generation) is so close it's hard to tell the difference. I have a '67 Camaro in Machine Silver, and the two parked side by side look the same.

The short answer is, "Ye." The pinstripes were a double line of red around the ridges on the hood that go around the vents and back toward the windshield. i don't remember where I saw that on this forum, but it was a nice detail that is not overdoing it.

I gotta admit, the C7 looks great in all the colors, even white, but after going back and forth on about 4 color combos, silver has crept to the top for me. I think it displays the curves and angles the best, while contrasting the black details without being too overboard. So, lets see everyone's silver C7's!
This is the exact color combo I would do, but with either the solid color roof or visible carbon.

I get it Al. Over the years we weren't that fond of Silver on a Corvette. So, we started looking at the reds, and blues until we saw that Blade Silver Coupe at a dealer in Myrtle Beach, S.C. That was all it took.

I had a '69 Vette when I was in the Navy. Sold it to get money for a down payment on another house. Have wanted another one ever since. Was not too impressed with C5 and C6 body styles. Love the C7s.
Started out looking for one in Laguna Blue. Considered Long Beach Red for awhile. But when I saw this 3LT in Silver with red interior, I knew I had found "my" Vette.
