I could read my plate also. I think the camera should be set a bit higher.

Default Possible HUD Problem

C7, Auto, Coupe - My HUD display seems to be tilted just slightly. The bottom line of green bars seems to be a bit to the right and what should be the vertical lines of the bars are tilted a bit thus making them display a bit of pixelation instead of being totally vertical. Anyone notice this or am I just seeing things?

I have a C6 also and its HUD as no issues like this.

They all do. It's actually an illusion from the hood angles making it seem that way I believe. But just something to get used to, they're all the same.

My first guess is, that looks level. I think the orientation of the hood makes it look that way. IMHO of course. Let us know the outcome.

AW Z51 NPP MRC 7sp 1LT
VIN #2699
A few cosmetic issues here.
1. Hood mis-aligned. Left side is higher than right. Decided to drive around to see if it settles.
2. Exhaust is not spaced properly. Dealer ordered new exhaust
3. tear in headliner. Dealer ordered new headliner
4. right rear quarter panel has a damaged edge. Unfortunately the panel was painted damaged. Not sure how to handle this one.
5. ordered floor mats and cargo mats, however dealer hasn't received.

I haven't gotten into the electronics yet as I headed out of town a few hours after picking up. That will have to wait until this weekend.

Love the car!

my reverse camera stopped working and then displayed something to the effect of - service reverse camera. The problem was you couldn't bypass this grey screen with white letters to use the radio or nav etc ....it started working again later in day.

Very similar to mine, radio wouldn't work and I didn't mention that in post 9.

Torch Red Z51 VIN 2553. Has anyone had any problems with the rear hatch/window being hard to close/seat into the frame? I really have to shove/slam it downwards to get it to completely close. More often than not, I must complete the process by pushing it the rest of the way down into the frame by using one of my hands. Maybe it has to do with the latch adjustment or too much air pressure inside the car when the rear hatch is being closed and the passenger/driver windows are still up? I will bring it up to my dealer today on the way home.

Instead of slamming it down, place it down gently 'til it stops, then, with a flat hand in the center of the hatch, simply give it a strong push/shove. Works for me.

Never mind my post this AM as I found another thread where this issue (or not) is being discussed. The video on that thread by Mike Davenport is quite helpful.

I also made the same observation. (Found if you bend your neck slightly it seems to straighten out. LOL)

Did inform the factory but have not received a response.

That's what I do as well. When I had an Xpel clear bra installed I also had a piece of Xpel installed on the center of the hatch to protect the paint during closing.

At 210 miles the rr tire picked up a 2.5" long wheel balancing weight off the road at about 30 mph. When the weight rotated into the wheel well the weight was forced into the tire tread causing a large puncture. Wheel well was also damaged with two holes completely through.

Clearance between tire and wheel well is very small and I am concerned that those that are lowering their cars may actually be increasing the potential for this type of tire damage. Obviously I was unlucky to the tune of $425 for a new tire. Interested in hearing from others regarding this failure.
I don't like these tires. They pick up everything on the road and cut very easily. I will be looking for a Pirelli Zero Nero to replace the Michelins.

Here is the video by Mike Davenport that Bill B 1 asked for. I hope this link works for him. Otherwise, just search for his name on the search feature and you should find this then.

Default Magnetic ride selection/PTM mode problem

I am having a problem engaging Performance Traction Management Mode. I follow the instructions in the owner's manual quoted below:

"In order to select this optional
handling mode, the vehicle mode
must be Track. Then quickly press
the TCS/StabiliTrak g button on the
center console two times. PERF
TRAC 1 - WET ACTIVE HANDLING
ON displays in the DIC."

I also found a you tube video that shows what should be displayed in the DIC.

When I try to "quickly press the TSC.." button while in Track Mode I do not get the 5 PTM modes on my DIC. Instead it I get the Traction Control Off symbol. The manual indicates that if the tire pressure monitoring system is malfunctioning PTM is not available but my system shows okay. I definitely have the option on the vehicle.

VIN 1560
