Nope. It's a coupe. Look at the trunk lid and the rear side window.

This reminds me of a story I heard while in college. A friend of mine's husband bought a brand new Mustang (this was in the late 60s), drove it off the lot, and was hit. He promptly dragged the other guy who hit him, out of his car, to see that the odometer only read 7 miles!

So the article says, "details are scarce", yet they are glad to speculate that "turn off the traction control and this is what happens", and "chances are it was driver error".

Based on what? The guy could have been hit head on, and injured, and he gets a bunch of sideline rambling. Absurd.

Correct me if I am wrong, but that is a convertible and the convertibles have not shipped yet, so are you sure this is a customer car? I think its a GM car.....
