Default Grab Bar

Think the Grab Bar on the C7 console is not needed. IMO, it makes the interior smaller and really doesn't serve a purpose, can't picutre a passenger grabbing it with their left hand. Without it the lines in the interior would be cleaner. That said I'm looking forward to getting a C7, looks better in person than in pictures.

It shows the passenger where his/ her limit is when sitting in my car. By the way this styling cue has been used on other cars.

A better alternative than them reaching over and grabbing you in the middle of a tight twisty at speed . . . . .

It just looks like a grab bar. In reality it is a little window so the passenger can get a view of how awesome it is to be the driver :-)

I tested my fun-mobile on some twisties today. My wife used the handles on both sides fairly often. Not a death grip, just enough to keep her stable in the seat on the quick S turns. I'm not sure if it was a comment on my driving but she mumbled something about naming them the "OMG" handles.

I'm taking the positive attitude and assuming it was some kind of compliment.

I love the handle, keeps passengers out of my business.

Corvettes have had some kind of grab bar since the dawn of civilization. My first recollection of one was in my buddies white and green '57.

I like the grab bar in the C7. The C6's didn't have any and the C5's were in the front above the passenger airbag. Never thought that was a good place to begin with....

I like it, both because it clearly deliniates the "driver's space" and gives an antsy passenger somewhere to hold onto.

I *REALLY* like it because I often commute with a passenger who, in my now gone '01, rested their hand on the parking brake handle and often tensed up when I took a corner fast... which scared the hell out of me cause I really did not want the car to come to a sudden stop if they ever tensed up and lifted their hand while it was on the parking brake.

not integrated fluidly.

If it flowed better maybe... THe interior could do without in imho. That said, it's not a deal breaker by any means lol

The two different DOOR PANELS are what really bothers me about the interior?

I like it. It separates the passenger from the driver. There was one guy here on the forum that didnt want to buy the C7 because he wanted his wife to feel like she is part of the driving experience but because the interior is separated by the grab handle, he feels she is so far away.LOL
