Default AS3+ tires

I'm trying the as3+ tires and wanted to know if your tires look like this with part of the sidewall sticking out. it makes it look a little off. Its not clean sidewall to rim as my cup 2 were.

I have sidewall envy because that extra rubber will help protect your wheels from curb rash.

That’s the purpose of that lip. It’s supposed to be there.

Rim Protector. PSS ZP and Cup 2 ZP tires have them as well.

It's a good idea, but not perfect. The one time I curbed a wheel, I was backing up slowly and never felt or heard anything unusual. But when I checked later, the curb rash was there.

It is nice to have that extra little bit of protection for the wheels.

I think he's talking about it looking like the bead isn't seated all the way in that spot

I thought he was talking about the rim protection protrusion, which I was envious of, but now I think he is worried about the irregularity. It looks like either the rim or the tire are out of round. But, it would be easier to see if the photos were take at a ninety degree angle from the wheel. I say take it up to about 150 mph and see if it vibrates or not.

Yup. Juat got em on my 2017 Z51. Very impressed with their summer grip so far. Looking forward to being able to drive my C7 in the winter more when it's below 35ºF.
