Since the NAV option doesn't have a Home setting, you can program your home address (or any other address) in one of your Favorites buttons. Then you just select the Favorite and it brings up the NAV system and routes you to the programmed address. I use several Favorite buttons to store frequently used destinations.

Actually it is a 500 mile break in feature. When the odometer changes from 499.9 to 500.0 the blue line will actually move to 6500. Also if you have a Z51 or Z06 this is the time to change the oil for the break in period.

on most cars, the edges of the back glass are covered in dots or squares.
On the C7, its the C7 logo.
Their shadows will cover the rear cargo area cover when the sun is at the right angle.
When weather conditions/dewpoint are just right, a large C7 logo will appear on the hood between the vent and the windshield.

Yes, BUT--you better watch out. It is frequently out of date. It's one of those things where when it's good, it's very, very good, but when it is bad--it'll get you a ticket. The state highway near my house, a fairly substantial road, all things considered, changed its speed from 55 to 50 several years ago. The "speed limit" sign still reads 55. The local cops will give you a ticket for literally one mph over (Happened to a friend of mine who went to court for a 41mph in a 40mph zone ticket, which the judge upheld. It's sad.)
So yeah, it's cool when it is, but it's just an imperfect aid.

I really enjoy seeing these older threads come up. Being fairly new around here I haven't seen all the info that has graced these pages over the years. There is no way I am spending the time it would take to peruse it all, and if there is something there I didn't know about I would not know to search for it. Plus - sorry - but I am not one to read the owners manual cover to cover. So these threads are fun as well as informative.
So, thanks, BOBBYT1. And do not be discouraged when one or two folks wonder aloud why an old topic resurfaced. There are lots of us who are glad it did.

I know this is an ancient thread but it would actually be good for pinning.
