New C7 being shown in Dublin Ca. Chevy.... or not!
Guys in the Hot Rod club I attend informed me that Chevy in Dublin Calif. was going to show a C7 this past Sat. around 11am. I couldn't make it then but figured I'd roll by in the afternoon and check it out.
I made it to the dealer around 430pm and the C7 was gone.
Salesman told me it was under wraps for the owner to pick it up and it was shown to the public at 1pm then the owner took it home.
I guess I'll just have to keep dreaming on seeing one in person for a while...... Yea, then they tried to reel me in and trade my C5 for a Camaro.... Yea, right...

Melting Slicks
Dublin has a couple of allocations that are unspoken for at this point at MSRP, and Boardwalk has C7 listed on their site as well as (8) deliveries this Monday (07 Oct) according to this poster;

If you're an out-of-state buyer is there any reason not to buy from a California dealer? I seem to recall an earlier thread about it but I can't find it. I thought it was along the lines of paying extra taxes or something. Must be having an alzhiemer's moment.
