Amen. Back in the olden days of the corvette, they were made attractive with white wall tires and beautiful hub caps. The only time you saw a vette with black wall tires and no hup caps, was on the race track or someone with zero taste or very limited budget cause it looked like ----.Now it's a fashion statement in the minds of some. Amazing.

I really think we are all pretty lucky to even be having a conversation like this. It shows that in general, we all agree on the big things like, this is one BAD A$$ car and most of us will be driving one in the future......I love my problem of deciding on a color. I revel in it!

If you want to look like your stuck in the 80's/90's, get chrome. You'll outshine the gold aound your neck. If you want a modern look that will make your vette look bad ***, get the black wheels.

Since I can't even decide on a color, what chance do I have between chrome and black?
Silver? White? Laguna Blue?
To me, all three look good with chrome or black.
Pick what you like and drive it. As long as you're happy, who cares what others think.

well I may go with the standard painted silver stock z51 wheels then roll to the black chrome when all the aftermarket wheels start to hit the market. basicly z51 wheels in black chrome a little shine with the dark look best of both worlds
I do have all my hair, no gold, gone through the 60's 70's 80's and so on had cragers, centerlines, moons, chrome spokes, brushed aluminum, painted, and so on never the chrome black , never to old to try something new
thanks again for all the replies

I bought my car with chrome wheels. and ended up putting black wheels on it later. I still like the chrome, and might put them back on at some point.
Either way, you aren't talking about a life changing decision here. Make the decision and own it! It's your car, so choose what you like, not what the popular vote is.
You can't see the wheels when your driving it anyway!
