Default Wait or have opportunity one now but officially 2nd owner? Advise?

I found the exact car I want today and its slightly over sticker. ($3500)
But car has been titled and it has 35 miles on it. I would "officially" be the second owner. But the car still is wrapped in shipping stuff and has window stickers. So it's "new". I have a deposit on a car (Z-51 dual roof package LT3), but been at 3000 for almost 45 days and due to carbon fiber constraint, could be quite a while still. The car I can buy now has exposed carbon fiber and all. Exactly what I want! But I wouldn't "officially" be the first owner!!?!? Hmmm. What to do?!?

Are you financing it? If so, it is technically a used car, and that may affect the finance deal.

But if you want it, I'd suggest haggling off that $3500 overcharge.

Everything transfers as new. It's just that someone bought it to flip. But only paying $3500 over sticker and this 3rd party is actually giving me more for my trade that the dealer that I ordered the new one with. However, Rick Hendrick Chevy in Deluth is first class. I had a bit of a communication breakdown with one of the salesman, but Shawn (new car manager) is awesome and willing to give me full deposit back on "my stuck at 3000" .
You all are awesome on this forum as well. Such a huge benefit and asset to have this sort of communication with each other.

If the car has been titled it is officially a used car. I would not pay over sticker for it.

$3500 over sticker for a USED car? No thanks.

Yes everything transfers over but if you sell it in two years some people might be a little squeamish as to why a car with 35 miles was sold to you they might think it's a Possible Lemon, had issues etc... I know I'd use it as a negotiating tool.

If you wait a little longer, you can either wait to have your car built or find a NEW one at a dealer for MSRP.

Why would you pay 3500 over msrp when technically it is used?

Personally, I wouldn't touch this "deal" Too many potential blind spots. Be patient as hard as it is.....

Yep...especially at 3500 over sticker. You'll regret it in six months.

Frankly, I believe you should wait for the car you ordered and send me the $3500 - everybody wins . . . . and, you're welcome !!

I wouldn't buy it for more than 12% off MSRP so I guess I wont be driving it. It all depends on how bad you want to be the first on the block with a new toy.

BUT somebody will pay it. Right now it's a sellers market.

I wouldn't pay over sticker for a used car. I would tell the owner/sales person, no thanks. Wait for your ordered car.

It's your money, you earned it, do with it as you like. I wouldn't be concerned with a previously titled vehicle with 35 miles on the speedo.

Is this vehicle in Atlanta as well? I got mine from Autonation in Alpharetta.

Valid points by everyone and based I'm what I'm hearing, I'm going to wait. The "used" car in question is on eBay and is available for $76,000 right now. Arctic White loaded 3lt. My deal was different because they were giving 3k more for my trade (than the dealer I currently have the car ordered with) so I would "technically" be paying $3500 over sticker. But based on everyone's advice, I'm going to continue with the car I have ordered. Simply just "smarter". But ugh, the wait. Thanks to everyone!!

The 3 year part of 3/36,000 bumper to bumper and the 5 year part of the 5/100,000 powertrain started when titled to 1st owner. What is the CF screen name of the first owner?
