Default VY C7 will be at Cars and Coffee on 10-5-13

To anyone in the Raleigh/Cary North Carolina area… I will have my velocity yellow C7 – Z51 at Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning 10/5/13 at Waverly Place in Cary. Anyone who wants to sit down in the car and try it on for size will be welcome. I am an enthusiastic Corvette owner and I am willing to share the experience of sitting down in the car and understanding the fit, finish and etc.

I know it's short notice. However, you if you read this and can make it, please come on down. I'd love to meet you.

See you there!!!!

Wow. That is really nice of you.

Wish you were in Miami, Florida!

I'd be there in a heartbeat!

Congrats on your new ride.

Mine was built 9/25 and still waiting for delivery.

Very kind of you... I'm not in the area, but one word of caution, make sure folks don't have stuff in their back pockets (gearheads carrying screw drivers etc). I've poked a hole in a car seat that way once when i was a teenager

Really nice to meet 9157 and Rad22 today at the Coffee & Cars in Raleigh. Rad crossed my path on Hwy 64 as I was on my way and we were able to pull in together and park next to each other. The yellow and white with the black accent trims (and both of our exposed CF roofs) really drew crowds. 9157 with his black in black on black was down at the end of the row, drawing his own crowds.

It was great to let people see the various option choices. Between the three of us we had automatic and manual, Z51 and base, black and default wheels, and 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT!

The cars got plenty of compliments and envious looks.

Get out there and spread the joy, guys and gals!

We were the star of the day! Despite Mercedes rolling out all its new models for 2014.... They had the new 'S' class , SLS, CLS & E AMG.... Yet all the attention was on the new C7 ! What a show! What a day! It was great to see! The C7 is definitely a game changer !

Yeah, it was funny. There were many more people clustered around our C7's than the Mercedes SLS and a row of high $$$ Mercs. I am so gratified. I'm serious guys...I love this car.

I went to the C&C with a buddy this morning. When we left, I tossed him the key and said, "Take me home". He proceeded to drive from Cary to Siler City to Hillsborough before going home to Mebane. That's like going 70 miles to cover 40...

I saw what you did there, David.

Saw all 3 this morning guys! I had the White 300zx with the LS1 Corvette motor in it parked a row in front of you. Beautiful cars. Love the black wheels. Overall the C7 is gorgeous. Motor sounds a little "ticky" I guess you could say. Nothing some long tubes and cat-back Borla's won't drown out tho! haha!! I had a magnacharged C5 few years ago and been wanting another vette. Damn the price hurts a bit tho. Gonna have to wait a year! Beautiful car buddy!
