Paint / Finish Issue
Has anyone seen this issue with their C7 regarding the finish / paint by their spoiler on the Z-51 package. At first I did not notice it, then when I was detailing it, it caught my eye. Actually there is a center section slightly flared up, with 2 small dots on either side, that were actually gray in color. Having had some CRM touch-up paint from my previous C6, I placed a small dab on each gray spot showing through, and while it helped hide it, it is still less than perfect. I have heard this has been an issue with some other C7's, and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this.
I have already sent these pics to my dealer to see what recourse we have.

I had the same exact marks on my VY. Dab of touch up....not detectable. Must be a systematic effect of eithe the rear cap install, or having watched the assembly, the buildup of the rear cap on a separate line. It is actually placed in a jig and the lights, brackets underneath, etc. are attached before it is brought the main assembly line replaced on the car.

Well, I contacted my dealer today, e-mailed him the pics, was surprised it got past QC as much time as it spent there. He will take care of it under warrantee. Yea, but it should have been right to begin with...

Melting Slicks
Yes a bit of a joke, but it looks like it is on the body not the spoiler, and what if paint doesn't match exactly? I wouldn't have taken delivery if I noticed it, and repainting would not be an option. I own a black Z so I guess I am very **** on paint care

You're probably seeing where the GATE allowed plastic to flow into the mold. All plastic parts have them and some can be seen depending on where they're placed. They didn't do a good job of sanding down the gate after snapping it off the runner in that location. Come on Chevy!!!

liken the spoiler-less idea more and more.
