Phone Images Question
Quick question - perhaps I missed something. I paired my phone via Bluetooth and am able to answer and make calls. However on the display both on the spedo and mylink where the persons picture should be it just shows a gray head. Anyone (talon90???) know how to fix it.

Have you switched the car to use the phone contacts vs. the car contact list?

Ummm how do I do that Pail? I'm not sure. Also, is it normal that Pandora won't work unless I'm plugged in and that I can't hear my text messages when connected via Bluetooth. I'm using ios7 and an iPhone 5s.

Yes, Pandora doesn't stream, it uses a wired connection to your phone.
You will not hear the text messages, only through your phone with Siri, not over the infotainment system. That's an issue with Apple.
Keep in mind, I don't know what the impact of iOS 7 is yet. I just got my 5s but haven't used it in a car. These photos were shot while I had my 5 with 6.3.1. I'm a little concerned about iOS 7 as they changed the formatting for the contact images...don't yet know what the effect will be with the system.

Try it with a cable as well. Different features become available depending upon how the car is connected to the device. BT has some limitations depending upon the device specifications and device to device Apple vs. Android vs. Blackberry will all do some things differently.

Same with cable. Ugh the text thing is annoying as I drive a lot and would like to know when I get a text. Other than that (and it really is a minor complaint) - I'm in love with my new ride.

Hi nsad,
I just spoke with infotainment and they stated that the Stingray is capable of handling photos 4 mega pixels or less, at this time. If you have any further questions you can contact infotainment at 855-478-7767. I hope you are enjoying your new Stingray!
