Bonmin Chevrolet Miami: Brazen
I saw my first Stingrays today at a local dealer.
I met a man there who was just taking his red Z51 out of the showroom. It stickered at a little over $65,500.
He paid $10,000 over the MSRP!
I don't know if that's a world record for price gouging, but I hope it is.
Bonmin Chevrolet, on US1 near Dadeland. If you're in Miami you might want to look elsewhere.

he did it to himself, i have friends in miami that bought dealer stock off the floor last week for under msrp.
a sucker is born every day, when the dealer told him 10 over, he could have easily called 10 more dealers and done courtesy delivery at his out of spite

People are just nuts for paying anything over MSRP for a C7. I'll wait until the frenzy dies down then get one for hopefully less than MSRP.

The guy is now the proud owner of a C7 and will likely not miss the extra $10k. How many of you on this thread now have a C7 in your possession?
If I had a few million sitting in the bank and forgot to order one soon enough, I might do it myself.

Reasonableness of pricing is all relative. Just because a buyer is willing to pay x amount over MSRP doesn't make him or her a sucker. He/she could be swimming in money and don't mind paying extra to be one of the first to drive this car.
10,000 above MSRP might be a lot for the average buyer of this car. But for someone who is making way above the average buyer, 10,000 might not be too much.

Tropical is also being reasonable. Offered me any one they had, including a base 1lt with only auto and nav, at sticker. Couldn't do the red seats.
No offense to the dude you met, but there is a culture of throwing money away for fun down here.
