By itself I prefer the hood vent in body color the way you have changed yours to appear as

I also like the center only carbon stripe option going from the front of the vent to the windshield......... kinda reminds me of the 67 BB hood.

If I could order all the vents including the spoiler to match the body color along with the chrome grille strip I would choose this route of over any other

Red much better. The 80's are long gone and hopefully so are black vents along with Elton John's wild sunglasses and Flock of Seagull haircuts.

While I prefer the carbon flash for the contrast, your hood vent looks pretty nice too.

Any chance you might offer replacement chrome strips for the grille (carbon flash, body color, maybe even black chrome like the exhaust surround)? I'm guessing it might be a popular option given some of the remarks I've seen the past few months on the forum about braces, retainers and headgear

The aero-panel thing might be good too since in the reveal video it had a nice painted finish but in the shipping version the pictures look like plain gray plastic.

Looking at those wider angle pics that were just posted I gotta say - If I were getting a vert I'd be getting one of those body colored vents - the vert without the quarter vents is an overall simpler or classic looking version of the car and I think the body colored hood vent would go along very well with that.

Looks outstanding. To each his own on the black. If all the black was carbon I would leave it alone.

While I was at it, the guys also painted the under hood scoop intake and Airbrushed the hood liner with color logo and some flames....

Differences in taste make the world go round. I am thinking I would like not to paint it but run either stripe package. But then my car will be Night Race Blue, sorry it is built so "is" Night Race Blue. The lighter colors it may be the ticket.

I like both. Still think this option is one that GM should be offering for all the Carbon Flash painted vents and diffuser. What is RPI going to charge for this?

That looks as good as Dave's red plaid sweater vest and red bow tie.
