Default 79 yo Woman bought VIN 511

Went to get work done on my C6 today at my Chevy dealer here in Dade City, Florida (30 minutes north of Tampa) and saw this 2014 Stingray sitting in front of the dealership. Arrived yesterday, dealer's first car, pre-ordered and bought by local 79 year old woman. I see her all the time on our local roads in her 2012 SSB GrandSport Coupe. She's trading it in for the Stingray. Markup was $1100 over sticker. 3LT, red/red, chrome wheels, auto transmission. My guess is she is not a member on this forum?

More power to her I had no idea how fractured (kind word) the Corvette community was before I joined this Forum about 2 years ago.
For her:

80 years old does not need to be driving a corvette. Even
driving period. But that is snowbird land so guess people
know to look out for them

That is so cool that a 79 year old bought one. So much for the younger crowd!

I knew a retired orthopedic surgeon who scored a hole-in-one on a short par 3 (110 yds) at age 93. After the club celebration, he drove home. Lived to be a few years over 100. You have not a clue as to her driving capabilities.

Wish she was on here so I could congratulate her. I think it is cool as hell.

I would gladly ride shotgun with her

This is probably someone's grandmother... How awesome would that be

If she joined the forum, she would be one of the youngest members.

Not sure how old you are, but obviously you can't see yourself driving at that age.

I'll be 70 in just 4 months and plan to be driving MY C7 much more than 10 years.

I wonder if she will use the C7 to pull her bass boat.
