I have seen a January 2014 showing reported, with sales starting later in the year . . .

I believe something may be shown in January at Detroit show. I also believe production time table will be heavily influenced by Stingray
demand. Whenever they have unused production capability they will get real serious about cranking them out.

^ Actually when they are ready to produce the Performance Variants (Z07 - ZR1) of the C7, they will regardless of the demand at that point for the Stingray - Why - because the profit margins are greater on the high priced spread . . . . .

All conjecture at this point.

I think we'll see an unveil in Jan and in showrooms next fall as MY 15.

I sure hope so! I have owned 3 C3's over the years, but have been without a Corvette for many years. If they release a performance variant with a paddle shift transmission of some kind, I will buy one immediately. I've been "Vetteless" waay too long

I'm betting the hi-po version will go on sale with the remainder of the other 2015's in June of 2014.

And we've seen its supercharged LT4 version of the LT1 and the wide front and rear wheels. What we don't know is the final choice for the name...

Why? They have C6s and C7s for sale right now. They aren't in any hurry to bring out a Z.

Actually they (GM) don't have any C6s for sale. Some dealers do but not GM.

Why? Because I don't want a C6 or C7 and I don't want to wait for a C7Z .. I'm short on patience and the new Viper is starting to look pretty sweet..
