How long before C7s will be on dealers lots in masses?
Ok I know it JUST started being delivered for pre orders but how long before dealerships will have some sitting on the lot. 6 months, 8 months, not til 2015 models?
(By masses I don't mean sitting there like the 50 Silverados my local dealers have but they all usually have a couple new C6s at any given time.)
Also whats the time frame for people that are putting in orders now? I've seen a few people on here post up they were told April. Could that just be convertibles?

Some of the larger forum dealers will have substantial dealer stock by the summer of 2014 if not sooner. It's a crapshoot if you place an order now, if the options you want aren't on constraint and you order from a dealer with allocation, you should see a coupe relatively quick (before 2014), otherwise a convertible or coupe (on constraint) early next year.

At this point, Every car being built right now is for pre-orders - You're not going to really be able to take it for a test drive or anything till 2014 I bet.
You might be better off seeing if you can rent one.

You should see tons of C7's on dealers lots about the same time Obamacare is fully implemented. OK, just joking but in reality, no one can accurately project how many C7's will sell in the coming months.

Don't be confused by what happens on this forum because here we are all enthusiasts. There will be ton's of un-sold C7 Corvettes on dealer lots by late spring. Larger dealers already have many un-sold Corvettes inbound to their dealerships right now. Have patience.

Say Jon, you mean all the big dealers in NYC who are in the first 900 dealers to receive C7s are going to have a lot full of unsold ones? Really? Which dealers would those be---some on CF would probably like to go talk to them about a purchase.

On March 25, 2014 at precisely 6:02 pm EST a load of Corvettes will be unloaded in a dealership parking lot and the precise number of unsold 2014 Corvettes will pass 888.

GM is not going to produce more Corvettes then dealers order. In the C6 GM would force them on dealers and flood the market NO MORE . This is the new plan for the C7. You people sitting on your hands are in for a surprise next year. Let's see I bought a 1LT Z51 7speed LLP for $56K. I like performance so don't need an extra $10K for 3LT,Nav,crome wheels and any orher nick nacks. So what can you buy for $56K with all the Z51 offers???

There were no C6's produced that weren't dealer ordered. The main reason for the glut of dealer stock at the end was to gain allocation for C7's.

Rebates- hopefully GM is smart and does not produce well over demand, if they do rebates will be back for the 2015 model at the latest.

^ I've heard several of those larger dealers Jontall refers to, are panicking about where to store the many un-sold Corvettes inbound to their dealerships right now. Truth be told, that's what Rick, Mike, Dave & Tommy Jr have been spending the majority of their time working on. It would help if we would all consider purchasing a Silverado or Cruze to make room.

Check the C7 Dealer Inventory section of this forum.
Rick Hendrick has at least 18 C7 coupes For Sale at MSRP to the general public. They claim they'll have them by late Sept.
