The car is flipping beautiful, Pictures do NOT do the car justice.

It is awesome....I am in love. Wow pictures just don't do this car justice. I went to pay for mine tonight (museum delivery 10/1) and my dealer got one in today. I realized that I would have had mine tonight if I would have taken dealer delivery, but a weeks wait is worth museum delivery. The guy that ordered this one backed out and several people were trying to buy it and were not able to get the financing. My understanding is it is currently available at Lone Star Chevrolet in Jersey Village Texas. I am pinching myself, I can't believe I now own one of these amazing cars. Now if next Tuesday can just get here...

Absolutely a stunning looking car. It has great lines.
I am tempted to call them because that appears to be very close to what I want.
I keep going back and forth. Arctic White ... Torch Red ... Arctic White ... Torch Red ... I bet I go with Arctic White.

I also saw my first C7 in person, this morning. It was also in white.
The rear end looks better in person than the pics, and does not seem very "camaro-ish" to me at all though I have heard many say so.
The front end looks... not so good. Where are all the curves? It's more like 'edges'. It looks like it "had" sexy curves and then someone stepped on it with a giant shoe. It just doesn't sit right to me.
My '77 from nose to tail "feels" like one fluid artistic brush stroke. So did the GS I had.. The C7 does not. Its lines seem awkward, unfinished, misinterpreted, something.... I don't know. I really REALLY hope the HiPo version has a different (better) front-end and hood line like the ZR1 did.
Congrats to all the new C7 owners that are starting to take delivery. It must be super exciting!!! But it's just not for me. I'm not feelin' it.
--added-- Maybe an aftermarket body kit and hood will come out soon?

Nah, they are selling it for MSRP - We don't play that crap in Texas lol
From what I was told...
The car was ordered on 01-13-13, The reveal was at 7pm CST, Dude was in there at 7:30pm. The car got here and at the last second, He backed out - Changed his mind and ordered an Automatic.
2 weeks ago a dude that worked near by placed an order for a White base model, They asked him to come look at THIS white one since dude backed out - He liked what he saw and came back with 20k down.......couldn't get financed for the rest.
After dude left, A random 25 year old Firefighter was there - Fell in love with the car and offered up his Camaro SS for trade.....he couldn't get financing either.
If it was Night Race Blue I woulda bought it - That car has every option and trim I want just all the wrong colors lol

Lord have mercy that's the exact car I'm ordering, and what is sitting as my desktop wallpaper as I type. Tinted it will be damn near impossible for people not to stare at it...
