Informative review WildVettes - thanks for taking the time. Your comments re color ar of particular interest to be since I am thinking of red for the first time (all my others have been black). And somehow, the pic you took of the rear actually makes it look pretty decent.

The solid red roof on the TR looks really great . Mine will be exactly like that on the outside and with 2LT Kalahari on the inside. Geez, waiting sure isn't easy now. And I'm still at 3000
Congrats to someone on their new TR/Z51

They told me my invoice arrived today. You might be able to see mine tomorrow or Friday. Fingers crossed.

Disclaimer #1: That red C7 looks ABSOLUTELY awesome.
Disclaimer #2: I think somewhere in this thread someone was crying about how dirty a C7 was when it was delivered to a dealer. Not sure how much I care about that, since I generally tend to wash my cars anyways. Hell my C6 is probably dirty now and needs a wash.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your initial impressions. A first look can only happen once and the impressions are much more intense than on subsequent views.
I've seen maybe 10 or 12 C7's with different color schemes and a couple with custom trim colors. The Article White was absolutely stunning with all the black intakes and exhaust pieces. The only one I saw had black Z51 wheels. I myself would probably consider white calipers with black lettering or black with red or white lettering. Of course, red calipers would work with the red interior.
No matter what you decide to do, the white shows the lines of the car, particularly the rear panels that sweep around the rear wheels, perhaps better than any other color I've seen.
I think you are gonna love it. Congrats.
P.S. IMHO, a C7, like most Corvettes, deserves to be both waxed and driven.

I kind of like the white caliper idea. I haven't seen that done before but it could look good with the black wheels.

This is my least favorite kind of Thread . . .
The OP does a thorough job of laying out the fact the he is providing his impressions, good and bad, and that they are his only, and to not shoot the messenger. Then he goes on to make his 'review' of the car . . done, good job.
Naturally folks comment, it's a Forum - here's where it takes the turn that makes it my least favorite type of Thread.
The OP feels it necessary to come back into the Thread and make over 20 additional posts in reply to nearly every comment made. WTF - why bother with the original post - why not say, "I saw a C7 for the first time, ask me questions. I'll give my opinions and then debate any opinion that doesn't jive with mine".
For gawd's sake, post your Thread, stand by it and get out of the way. Come on man . . . . .
