2014 Stingray - Quarantia Edition
All cars stuck at the Nashville Yard should officially be labeled:
"QUARANTINA EDITION"
(sorry I misspelled Quarantina in the Title - noticed it after the fact)

Ok here is my spin
I have some experience with the automotive industry, and it has been this. The QC Check is probably not being done by GM. If there are issues with a vendor’s component part, GM will put the burden back on the vendor. The vendor will cover all the cost involved.

I have vin 1514 and it is in Nashville. I got an EMail from Chevrolet saying it is for final quality review. What is going on?

To an extent. My 05'coupe was the best-built cat I've ever owned. (out of 50+). No issues even though the car was modded big-time. My 07'Z has been problematic to this day and they still have problems diagnosing and fixing it.

I don't get all the angst...Of course I'd rather have QC in BG pass it A+
but it there is a problem, I'd much rather have it fixed before it is shipped to my dealer so that I won't have to waste my time taking it in for warranty repairs...

I visited a dealer today to look at two C7's waiting for their new owners. IMO (Very Picky/OCD) both cars still had some cosmetic issues that should have been addressed before leaving the plant. Both cars had spacing gap issues between the fender and hood. The silver car had a 2 1/2 inch paint drip in the upper rear fender on the panels edge next to the rear fin. It wasn't bad but it would have driven me crazy, some buyers would have never noticed. Both cars had an MSRP over 70k with glass roofs, no carbon-fiber roofs, 3LT & Z51 packages. Launch addition cars from any manufacture usually have minor issues that can be easily fixed. GM being focused on quality issues before shipping is a good thing.

I hope you are right. I call the chat line every day and I emailed Gm Sat. and the reponse I got was, We have shipped a number of Corvettes to the national rail head in Nashville for a final quality review of each car prior to being shipped to dealers. This final review is part of our standard procedures for a launch. Once the review for each vehicle is completed the vehicle will be shipped from Nasville to the dealer. This is a direct quote from GM. Here is the EMAIL address I used. faq@chevrolet.com. Will you guys out there email GM and see what response you get.
As you can see, it is clearly working as planned.
