Got a response late today. Emailed them 4 days ago. No real info other than I'm at 3300 and waiting for a TPW date.

waited 3 days to finally get a message today. Same form letter as everyone else. Sad to say, I really didn't expect anything different than what was sent.

No response for me either. 3400 with a vin of 1537. So much for the "dedicated team of customer specialists" answering our email. Last week I purchased a 2014 impala this week Chevrolet let me down. What a bunch of crap. I'm not going to cancel but I am very disappointed and will express my feelings to management.

This looks so bad. It probably took them four days to find out from the legal department what they should and shouldn't say.

Thank you for contacting Chevrolet regarding your 2014 Corvette Stingray order. We apologize for the delay in our response. We have received a large number of inquiries since Wednesday s shipment announcement. We are working as hard as we can to provide the latest updates.

As of September 20, 2013, the status of Order Number RDNN6N is the following:

This vehicle has been produced and assigned Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,00956. Please be aware that we have shipped a number of Corvettes to the national rail head in Nashville, TN, for a final quality review of each car prior to being shipped to dealers. This final review is part of our standard procedures for a launch.

As we indicated in the press release, we have built nearly 1000 Stingrays, and we are using facilities in Nashville to expedite the process. Once the review for each vehicle is completed, the vehicle will be shipped directly from Nashville to the dealer. We do not have an estimate we can share on the amount of time a particular vehicle will spend in Nashville.

Please understand our number one priority is to deliver the greatest, highest quality Corvette Stingray -- to every dealer, to every customer, every time.

We appreciate your patience and recognize the high amount of anticipation for the 2014 Corvette Stingray.

Thank you for contacting Chevrolet!

Sincerely,

The Chevrolet Marketing Team

Order has been placed by your dealership and accepted by Chevrolet and is now in line for production. This process can take time, is subject to change, and does not mean that the vehicle is physically being built at this time. The next step in the process will be the assignment of a Target Production Week (TPW.) However, at this time a TPW has not been established for this order.

No, none of Chevy's info links worked for me. It was my small local dealer that kept me accurately informed during the entire process. They did very well for me, I am glad I purchased locally. I never needed to call them ,every time there was a significant event, I was called that day.

Porter Chevrolet in Newark, De. This is my third Vette from them

I received the same email last night and I show 3800 on this afternoon's GM'er list. Great that I now have a car built, but Customer Service is still in the clouds. There is a good chance my car was built when the email stating I had no TPW was sent.

Got one today after contacting them on Friday. Said my car is "produced" and that it will be shipped "soon". I'm code 4D00 / VIN XX...XX1209 on GMer's list so it jives with what I know already. I'm pretty sure I won"t hear another thing about it until my saleman calls and wants me to bring the BIG check and come get it....hopefully soon !!

They are just as unreliable. Chat gave me a VIN of 1719, I received a PM from Marissa at Chev Cust Service telling me no VIN/TPW. Backwards, simply backwards. Guess I will know Wednesday. According to GM'er the last VIN we have at 3800 is 1535, so 1719 should be Tuesday or Wednesday.
