Default GMer's data is getting interesting

I posted this on GMer's daily order status thread, but thought I would throw it out on its own also.

Note... this post is updated to include today's (Thursday's) data from GMer.

I posted a recap of the first 16 days activity on GMers thread... they shipped 0 of our cars today... totally smashed my crystal ball! You will note no more blue text on the page below (for awhile)

Data collection is getting interesting...

Here is the first page of sorted data using GMer's last 15 posts

Red is your data I have scrounged from the forum, blue is my attempt at a crystal ball

Here is a link to the sorted worksheet,
http://webpages.charter.net/weshelto...r-status-f.xls

As always the raw data is here
http://webpages.charter.net/weshelto...r-status-d.xls

When should I expect VIN 1342 to be built? Just called Chevy and they said not yet. We know they got to 1239 at 2:41 yesterday. So I'm thinking by tomorrow?

It seems that they are send cars to 4300 based off of VIN numerically?

It looks like from 3300 to 3400 is around 10 days and another 10 to 15 days to be built. Does that sound right?

Could be right. I have no idea how many they can load and ship in a day.

My model has you coming off early next week... but....

It seems the line is really picking up speed... they were running at about 65-70 cars a day early last week.. now the number seems to be edging towards 100 per day or more.

The VIN data last Friday this Monday was muddled and I thought it might be due to all the Premier Editions that popped on Eagles photos Friday and that they may have had special numbers. However, it now seems more likely that they were mixed in with other customer cars and have standard VINs.

So, your guess looks better than mine... wanna sell me your ball? :-)

I gotta believe that the codes will start speeding up now...now that the initial cars have been cleared meaning their robots and crew are building a good car, it's gotta get better - I would hope the codes would move from 1100 to 5000 in 6 - 7 weeks now...

Yes, that looks about right... except for the guys that got pulled back to 3000 from 3300. Looks like 3400 is the first "safe plateau".

It looks like the suppliers are committed at 3000 and materials start flowing to the plant. A hiccup (poor quality CF top) causes things to happen to code 3300s

If I am starting to sound like I know what I am talking about, be assured I do not!

It looked that way, but explain 006, 022, 070, 170, 177 all going to 4300 the same day. I know for a fact the last three were No#1 at their respective dealers and were on the first consensus so could be the first submitted cars were put out first ?? I noticed some VINs below 177 have not progressed to 4300. There must be some method to their madness. It's all good cars are on the way

My crystal ball is not as sophisticated as yours. I'm just going by a known VIN from yesterday 1239, built at 2:41 PM, and adding 60 to say they should be at 1299 by the same time today. Then another 60 and they're at 1359 by the same time tomorrow, making my 1342 built tomorrow afternoon. I hope ...

Posting this to make sure people know who may have missed this info in the Premiere Edition announcement: the P. E. will have its own unique VIN series.

I hope your crystal ball is true! GM Chat doesn't make it sound too promising that mine will ship any time soon. They say it's being help for QC.

I have VIN 1670 at 3400 with a TPW of this week (9/16). However, I expect the car will be built mid-late next week and am hoping that with shipping now underway, it will ship early the following week.

Thanks, I had missed that and it may explain why the VIN number changes were somewhat erratic last week when the line of Premier Editions appeared in Eagle's photo. I wonder if they are being used to balance truckloads... hope they balance the one to Madison, WI

Pretty phenomenal man! You've definitely put some effort into compiling this data and formulating a hypothesis on projected completion and delivery status'
