That might not be true.
Talked to my dealer (Rick Conti) and he was expecting that they will start up in Oct.
I ordered form him (a week ago) and went 2000 directly to 3000 the next day.
makes no sense to open the allocation now and wait until Dec.

I've got a convertible at 3000 right now, (at least I did ths morning.) I don't have any idea what it's at right now, or for that matter, where it's at!

Ditto here for RGXBMP, order placed 09.09 and went to 1100 the next day, trying to find out when my 1100 status will go to 2000 "accepted by GM." Realistically, do not want delivery in the middle of winter.

Your order will not go to 2000 until your dealer receives a convertible allocation from GM. Then they must assign your order to that allocation. So, to get your answer you really need to talk to your dealer. They should know how many allocations have been given to them for the first 6 - 9 months of production. If you don't get the right answer from you dealer you might want to talk to one of the dealers here that are forum sponsors.

BTW, my vert order is at 3000 also.

Just take a look at all the other threads for coupe orders.

The sequence numbers are used primarily for vendor sequencing. So don't read too much into the number you have. It can go up and down in the same day.

Use some patience. Looks like production on verts will start maybe in October. But this isn't firm!

Ordered Vert from Rick at Coughlin 8/29 (officially) and it went to 2000 the next day and then to 2500 a couple days later and then 3000 on the seventh day.....and yes still at 3000.

I am going from memory, but I remember someone telling me, that there is no more allocation for verts this month, and they would start building them in October. BUT, I don't know anymore than anyone else.
