Invoice!!??? Whoaaaa baby!!!! Congrats!
I've been with USAA since the late 70s. Uggghhh...so tempting to jump in right now. This is going to make it harder to wait for the 2015 model....!

Have had USAA for almost 45 years. None better. They take care of you cradle to grave.

They said he was simply too old.
F'em.
But they are very good to their members if you can get in.

I agree, but in the past few years they have become less and less discriminating and more and more status quo (huge clientele = big bucks) , I fear it won't be long before they are like all the rest.

I have USAA and have for over 40 years. My dad (who died two months ago) did also and quit driving at age 88. Was still insured by USAA when he gave up his keys.
I'm pretty sure there's more to the story, age isn't a reason by itself with them.

I know what you mean. I have been FORCING myself to wait for the 2015. thought I don't exactly know why (yeah, I do. A year of bugs worked out, priced LESS then sticker, and maybe the 8 speed auto), but the thought of another year or more without this incredible vehicle seems a lifetime...

Do you have a link to the news coverage? I’m sure if this happened to an elderly veteran the media would be all over it.

I agree. USAA is great. However, I've noticed their rates for car and home owners insurance are no longer the best as they were when I first joined. Geico cut my yearly car insurance payment literally in half and reduced my homeowners insurance yearly premium by $350.00.
Since opening their business to others outside active duty / retirees, I've noticed a difference (for the worse) in their pricing and rates.

Congrats to you!!!
For whatever unknown reasons, I've been with USAA for nearly 16 years and although my insurance is kinda low (right now) they seem to have become a scam.
They raise rates and say "Rates in your State increased" but cannot provide any specific data to back that claim.
They raise your rates and say "There's nothing we can do" then suggest you "Increase your deductible." When you do and your premium goes back down, wait until your 6-month review and watch as it goes back up, only to hear the same "Song and Dance" all over again.
They could not meet or exceed my home loan at all. In fact, USAA could only offer 1/3 what I was pre-approved for.
USAA couldn't come close to Credit Card interest rates I already had. In fact, they were 5% over my then, 5% interest rate with Citibank with Excellent Credit.
I am not so sure USAA is "competitive" at all anymore because the last time I gave USAA a chance, they wouldn't even match my current lender for the 2013 C6Z I bought. USAA said "Best we can do is 3.5%. Bank of America got me 2.3%."
Sucks to be USAA and always two steps behind. (For me at least).

I moved my homeowners and auto coverage to them from Nationwide about a year ago and with their rate increases this year I would have been slightly better off $ wise with Farmers. I don't think they are as competitive as they used to be, but Im not going to change again. I'm with their CIC division because my father was in the service.
