Default C7 Extended Warranty Refunds

Two matters: first, is it true GM has included free service for the first 2 years for all C7s?

Second, regarding extended warranties: each state considers these to be insurance policies so insurance laws apply. A little known fact [which dealers never disclose] is that if you decide to cancel the extended warranty for any reason, the dealer is required by state law to reimburse you for the unused portion of the policy on a pro rata basis [combination of milage and unused remaining months]. You have to ask. They will give you a form. You get the check from either the dealer of the underwriter. Same is true of any other insurance policies.

GMPP has always done this, even before all this new rules in selling a GMPP. The policy belongs to you and not the car, it has stated in the policy for years-I mean YEARS, that you are entitled to a pro rated refund upon selling the car, trading the car or if the car is stolen or totalled.

I am starting to get alot of requests for quotes on the C7 GMPP plans so drop me an email and I will send you one, remember to include your VIN and state of residence so I can see if I can sell you one. I will start sending out prices after October 1st since I have been told that is when the symbol will hit my GMPP pricing quoter from Ally.

I won't be needing an extended warranty provided Chevy comes out with the "Godzilla Edition" Z/06..7..8 or whatever within 3 years.

IS the base warrant 3/36 or did they go to 4/48?
