Default $1000 Private Offer Voucher

I know you guys said they were popping up late last month. Can anyone confirm if they have seen one in a while? Supposedly they start coming up towards the end of the month.

I need one!

I keep going to the site, hoping a voucher pops up, but not yet.
Sure could use one. I do have $601 on my GM card to apply.

My guess is that they are only offered for a limited time, although historically, several times in the past couple of years. I have been trying this on advice found on another forum where several members have had success, but it hasn't worked for me yet...

Using Google Chrome, open a new "incognito" window from the drop down menu. This keeps Chevy from knowing you've been to the site in the past. Locate your dealer or a dealer near your with zip code and pick a vehicle...a Silverado or something likely to be in stock at that dealer. Several have had the pop up come after browsing 4-5 vehicles. Some have had it pop up by clicking the tab to have the dealer make an offer.

Probably won't work as I don't think GM is doing these right now, but if you have nothing else to do, it may be worth a try.

Post here if you win.

It's also possible that GM caught wind of what us Corvette guys were doing They maybe start it back up after the current one expires and exclude the Corvette.

I had it pop up several weeks ago. To be honest I thought it was spam. If it was legit. I don't feel too bad as I am not buying until next year anyway. If, however I was in the market today my feelings would be very different!

I got one of the vouchers on Aug. 28. I was just checking my order status and a pop-up menu asked me what kind of car I was buying and I said 2014 vette. The voucher says its good for $1000 if I buy from Dealer stock by 9/30. Came with an authorization code and a PIN. Of course I have no idea whether they are still offering this. My dealer seemed to think it would be honored by GM so long as my car gets there on time.

I am putting everything on my GM card that will fit. Hope to use it in oct or nov or Christmas we shall see. Sometimes the GM card will offer to top off credits , keeping my fingers crossed like the Corvette logo in the past.

I also had one pop up several weeks ago and read the fine print just as you did. My car will be museum delivery and probably one of the first but still not before 9/30. It didn't occur to me that the paperwork would be completed at my dealer well prior to September 30 and possibly the voucher could have applied. The only small caveat and that is that I am not buying from "dealer stock", but rather, a "sold order".

At any rate, I closed the window and wrote it off. I should've at least responded and taken it to the dealer. Oh well, at least I get the USAA $750. Not much of a coupon clipper, I guess.

If I get to pick up my car before 9/30, I won't care too much whether I get the $1000 off or not!

The pop up goes from time to time. I try it daily about 4-5 times just to check. I am pretty confident they are not going right now. As soon as someone starts seeing them again let me know. The dealer gets the money from GM as I understand it. No reason not to accept it.

That is easy math but unfortunately they are tied to an individual person.

Ah and so it is. Well if you find out it is transferable or if your dealer will honor it with a different name let me know.

I got mine by using the configuration tool, but this was on 8/28.

Sorry guys, but I think they took Corvette off of that program. Congrats if you were lucky enough to get one before the Stingray was added to the disqualified list!
