The pic posted a month ago is of different cars. Note that the second car on the top in the Autoweek article has BLACK wheels, the second car in the Arkansas pic does not....

I'm leaving tomorrow for Las Vegas, to attend Spring Mountain on Monday (thru Wed), and they were supposed to have the C7s. But was called Friday to tell me that wasn't going to be the case due to delays. So maybe Bondurant's. But most likely customers IMO.

You missed the point. The cars last month were not customer cars and were all different. This new picture in no way proves anything about customer cars shipping.

How can anyone think customer cars are shipping when you have all sorts of acknowledged experts from GM and major dealers here saying this wed the 18th is the day? And also, they are not going to sneak them out and lose a PR move, they will make a big announcement, that's just good business....

You just don't "soft launch" the new Stingray.

Who said they were CTF? And why would they put the covers on the test fleet after they have hundreds/thousands of miles of bugs and rock chips?

You stated that "they all ship without center caps installed" and I replied if the were CTF they would remove remove them?
We don't know if they would or would not put covers on CTF cars. Maybe they would, maybe they wouldn't but it doesn't really matter if they did, right? Maybe they would to minimize any further damage during transport? Maybe to test to make sure the covers are doing a good job? Dunno, I don't work for GM so I can't answer that.
All guesses as of right now as to what those cars are. Only time will tell what they are and if they are indeed customer cars.
