I moved to 3400 today so I guess the CF is not holding me up.

I moved up o 3400 today and am still being told it will be built next week. I don't think it is the accepted CF orders that is holding up things. Maybe it is logistical based on shipping?? Not really sure. Are you picking up at Rick's location or having it sent to your nearest dealer?

Thanks. I was worried about it when my consensus came due. I missed one because of the dash it was able to squeeze through with the dash on the 2nd July batch. Looks like I will be driving sooner than I had expected.

Been a Raiders fan since the 70's when they were great. It has not been much fun the last decade but hey, at least I am loyal!!

can't argue with that, as long as you're not a band wagoner I'm good with any fans.

Got ya! That should be fun. I have done the tour and museum a few times and loved it. Looks like the plant may be available for tours again when you go through there.

Which consensus did our order get pulled? I was 2nd July consensus ( missed the first due to CF dash constraint)

2nd also. This damn roof issue is causing me to much stress. Read Kerbecks status update report a sec ago. And he had only two cars with CF roof move to 3400. All the others stayed at 3300. But he had many without the roof move to 3400.

Seems we maybe on to something here. Roofs are arriving maybe one here one there and no certain order on how they are used. If say there is 100 of us stuck we are in for a long rode.

Is the exposed CF roof issue one of quality control, just a matter of insufficient production capacity, or both?

$1,000,000 question no one really knows. That's what this thread is for trying to gather facts to make a good guess. GM wont tell anyone anything.

You think there is any possibility that GM has enough tops to make the orders they already have in the 3000's and are not picking up any more because they are out?

No way. Watching both Ricks and Daves tracking sheets daily. They both show only orders without the CF roof moving forward past 3300. With only two or three exception. So they have to be receiving only a small amount of them at a time and working them into production. Problem is small amount and who know's how many waiting at 3300 could mean a long while. I seen something when it first came on constraint that said greater than 3 months.

I will update this thread hen I get "produced" next week.
The only issue with the roof is unexpected demand and supplier's inability to keep up. A pretty reliable source shared with us that the constraint will last a bit. Considering that we have several cars from the first consensus at 3000 it looks like they are all affected. Crazy thing is an order that was just placed (no C2M or C2Z) went to 3300 in two days... The roofs are trickling in as some of the cars with CF are being produced. It's just painful not to be able to communicate with any confidence... But hey, we're moving in the right direction and the cars are going to be amazing!

My thoughts exactly. Maybe worth canceling this order building a whole new one without the damn roof. Would get car quicker.
